Have you heard of Archive of Our Own? 

AO3 is another website very similar to good old ffnet, EXCEPT for a few things. Most importantly, the Archive is not currently deleting works because of explicit content or tiny infractures in the rules and guidelines. Lots of wonderful writers have lost their wonderful works - and wonderful reviews, etcetera - due to this. It happens with no warning, mainly due to a group of organize critics who are essentially bullying writers who have committed minor infractures. It’s not fair. 

I’ve had an AO3 for a while now, and I prefer it far above all other such fansites. This goes for reading and posting my own work. The site has great features such as a kudos option, the ability to gift and collaborate works, and an extensive history that keeps track of essentially every story you have ever stumbled past. It’s non-profit and focuses on protecting the rights of fanartists such as you and I. 

In addition, the work featured is of an extremely high caliber, generally speaking. You won’t find blocks of text or stories that rival ‘My Immortal’ around here.

The sad thing is, the Hetalia fandom doesn’t have much of a presence on the site.  There are some thousand fics floating around, but nothing akin to the devotion there is on ffnet. I think we should change this! AO3 is an amazing site and Hetalia is an amazingly talented fandom. We should share our fandom there, too.

To get an AO3, you either have to subscribe to the waiting list or receive an invite. The waiting list takes about a month, maybe more nowadays. I have a few invites left which I am happy to give to the first people who arrive at my ask box. Anyone else who has invites, I recommend that you open your doors to the public, too! I think all writers should have a chance to be a part of this great site.
